If you are looking for a job as a Senior PHP Web developer our client from Automotive Industry is hiring. The PHP Web Developer is responsible for managing back-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the users. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application. Therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.

Tasks

• Hands-on experience in Core PHP and MySQL Database;
• Good experience with relational databases, database keys and joins;
• A Clear understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, CSS, HTML layout;
• Strong experience in JavaScript, Ajax, Jquery and secure REST API;
• Strong skills in JSON parsing as well as XML for fetching data into the application;
• Good knowledge of the application deployment process using FTP;
• Basic knowledge of Unix Command/environment;
• Should be able to write the code independently;
• Knowledge of PHP frameworks and CMS;
• The candidate should be able to follow the Best Practices of all the Languages;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement the features;
• Unit-test code for robustness, including use cases, usability, and general reliability;
• Identify and correct bottlenecks, work on bug fixing and improving application performance;
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency;
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical/coding requirements;
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git;
• Excellent communication skills and thinking out of the box to achieve the business logic with less impact and revisions;
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle;

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar field;
• Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, and HTML5;
• Understanding of object-oriented PHP programming;
• Previous experience creating scalable applications;
• Proficient with code versioning tools including Git, Mercurial, CVS, and SVN;
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases;
• Ability to project manage;
• Good problem-solving skills;
• Good analytical skills;
• Ability to lead a team;
