Our Client is seeking the talents for the Senior Datastage support developer position; you’re responsible to provide Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for assigned technical issues participating in the company’s Reliability process and provide solid updates related to assigned issues.

Tasks

• Testing and troubleshooting problems in system designs and processes;
• Improving existing ETL processes for the business;
• Providing support to customers about issues relating to the storage, handling, and access of data;
• Working with Data Modelling, Business teams and PMs to address issues relating to load process, data constraints and data integrity issues;
• Working on Load order of Relational tables and defining, designing Code and Crosswalk tables as needed;
• Creating Data Warehousing and conversion projects Test Plans, Test Strategies, and Test Cases ensure the data in the Data warehouse meets the business requirements;

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters from Computer Science, Information Systems or related field;
• SQL skills intermediate to advanced skills;
• Strong communication and client-facing skills;
• Familiar with implementing IBM Change Data Capture (CDC) solution;
• Familiar with Data warehouse development, extraction, transformation, web services, data cleansing;
• Proficient in using most of the DS/QS stages and working with Oracle, SQL Server, Netezza, DB2 databases;
• Troubleshoot issues related to job failures or defects, resolve by change management and any tuning necessary;
