Our Client is seeking the talents for the Junior Datastage support developer position; you are responsible for aggregating data from various systems into a centralized repository.

Tasks

• To design, build, program ETL procedures;
• Determines and implements solutions for ETL design problems;
• Develop ETL Datastage jobs, SQL scripts, UNIX scripts Performs data profiling, understands source data, and designs ETL solutions to accommodate any nuances that may exist;
• ETL development using IBM DataStage;
• Performs unit and comprehensive testing for overall quality assurance of the functional and technical quality of deliverables;
• Assists in developing standardized work processes, tools, and methodologies that improve quality and profitability;
• Performs unit and comprehensive testing for overall quality assurance of the functional and technical quality of deliverables;

Requirements

• Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field;
• Knowledge of data modeling, database design, and the data warehousing ecosystem;
• Skilled in the ideation, design, and deployment of Datastage solutions;
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Knowledge of ETL estimation;
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly;
• Software integration and business intelligence;
• Familiar with using Datastage in a UNIX environment;
• Strong communication and client/customer facing skills;
