Job Description
- The Executive Sous Chef is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, managing kitchen staff, and ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest quality standards
- The Executive Sous Chef will also be responsible for creating new menu items, ensuring inventory control, and maintaining a safe and clean kitchen environment
Qualifications
- Culinary arts degree or equivalent experience
- Experience working in a high-volume restaurant or hotel
- Extensive knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in menu planning and recipe development
- Expertise in various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Passion for food and a creative approach to cooking
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
