Job Description

1)Team Leadership:

Lead and supervise the stewarding team, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
Delegate tasks effectively to ensure smooth operation of the stewarding department.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment among team members.

2)Operational Support:

Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, dining areas, and service stations.
Ensure the proper handling and storage of kitchen equipment, utensils, and supplies.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the procurement team to replenish supplies as needed.

3)Customer Service:

Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the caf , including restrooms and dining areas.
Respond promptly to customer feedback and address any concerns or issues related to cleanliness or service.
Collaborate with the front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and a positive dining experience for customers.

4)Compliance and Safety:

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food hygiene standards and sanitation guidelines.
Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any maintenance or safety hazards.
Train staff on proper cleaning procedures and safety protocols.

5)Communication and Collaboration:

Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and other departments to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient operation.
Collaborate with the management team to implement policies and procedures aimed at improving service quality and efficiency.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
