Job Description
1)Team Leadership:
- Lead and supervise the stewarding team, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Delegate tasks effectively to ensure smooth operation of the stewarding department.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment among team members.
2)Operational Support:
- Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, dining areas, and service stations.
- Ensure the proper handling and storage of kitchen equipment, utensils, and supplies.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the procurement team to replenish supplies as needed.
3)Customer Service:
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the caf , including restrooms and dining areas.
- Respond promptly to customer feedback and address any concerns or issues related to cleanliness or service.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and a positive dining experience for customers.
4)Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food hygiene standards and sanitation guidelines.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any maintenance or safety hazards.
- Train staff on proper cleaning procedures and safety protocols.
5)Communication and Collaboration:
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and other departments to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient operation.
- Collaborate with the management team to implement policies and procedures aimed at improving service quality and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
