Environment Conservation Society (Switch ON) is a leading and multiple award-winning not-for-profits, established in 2008 – certified under FCRA and 80G. Switch ON has led many innovative projects and incubated a number of highly successful ventures and initiatives in renewable energy, agriculture- livelihoods, skilling-education, and Clean Air Network.
Switch ON has worked with various national and international organizations like MNRE/NISE, SFAC, NABARD, GoWB, GIZ, Climate Group UK, US Embassy, Global Green Grant Fund, Halloran Phillantrophy, etc. We have impacted over 10 Lac lives over the last 10 years.
Key responsibilities:
Research & Reporting:
1. Co-create, design, and lead in-house research projects from start to finish
2. Working with teams to develop key hypotheses and research proposals in line with team strategies
3. Write and produce informative briefings, research papers, reports, email updates, and other materials on the project
4. Draft documents (research summaries, brief recommendations, vision documents) for external stakeholders
5. Identify policy issues, and conduct research, consultations, and analysis
Planning & Strategic Management:
1. Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the program
2. Monitor the day-to-day delivery of the program to maintain or improve quality
3. Develop and implement work plans, identify and define key initiatives and outcomes, conduct research, write policy papers, and make recommendations for consideration
Monitoring & Evaluation:
1. Oversee the planning, implementation, execution, and evaluation of the program
2. Partner with individuals & organizations in both public & private sectors to plan, initiate & implement advocacy strategies
3. Work on training design, development, and delivery
4. Conduct learning sessions, and provide regular coaching and support during the action period for implementing
