Deepak International Limited is a leading manufacturer of high-quality batteries for various applications. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Regional/Area Sales Manager (RSM/ASM) to join our team and help drive sales growth in your assigned region. As an ASM/RSM, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, managing a team of sales representatives, and building relationships with key customers.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets for the assigned region.
Manage a team of sales representatives, providing coaching, training, and support to help them achieve their targets.
Build and maintain relationships with key customers in the region, including distributors, dealers, and OEMs.
Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and customer needs.
Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure customer satisfaction and drive sales growth.
Analyze sales data to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
Attend trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to represent the company and network with potential customers.
Manage budgets, expenses, and other financial aspects of the sales operations in your region.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the battery industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team of sales representatives.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with customers and other stakeholders.
Analytical skills with the ability to analyse sales data and identify trends and opportunities.
Ability to travel extensively within the assigned region.
