Job Description
- Personal Grooming
- Display of fresh stock as per plan (planogram).
- Recovery, replenishment and display of merchandise from trial rooms, RBI, cash points, and customer service desk.
- Checking whether all merchandise has price tags and security tags.
- Upkeep of the section – cleanliness, removing cartons and packets.
- Knowledge of the day’s targets and previous day’s store and section achievement.
- Knowledge of in – store schemes, promotions and events.
Visual Merchandising
- Color blocking, size blocking
- Ticketing, Signage and size stickering in consultation with the Unit VM Head.
- Changing focal points and displays with UVM on a regular basis.
Selling
- Greeting and Attending customers.
- Maintain database of important and regular customers.
- Suggestive selling, Cross Selling and Add – on sales
- Knowledge of slow movers, fast movers
- Taking Customer requirement.
Product Knowledge
- Knowledge of the Fabrics, Brands, Styles, Sizes in one’s section.
- Knowledge of the size and style availability of merchandise.
- Knowledge of the new product launches in the store.
- Knowledge of current market trends and competitors in same categories. Knowledge of alternative outlets that sell the same categories.
Stocks
- Taking proper care of merchandise.
- All merchandise should have security tags and price tags.
- No merchandise on display for the customer should be defective or damaged.
- Global Counts
- Perpetual inventory Count System.
Security / Vigilance
- Ensuring that all merchandise is tagged (soft tag/hard tag).
- Vigilant against pilferage, shop lifting etc.
Feedback to Supervisor
- Slow movers and fast movers of the section.
- Feedback of customers regarding merchandise (quality, style, brand) store, facilities, conveniences etc.
