Job Description
Designation – Junior Software Developer
Responsibilities
Maintaining existing software applications by fixing bugs or creating patches to prevent issues in the future
Writing and testing code to ensure that it functions properly
Working with other members of the development team to design new features for existing products
Creating prototypes of new software applications and presenting them to management for approval
Testing new software releases to ensure they work as intended
Working with designers to develop graphical user interface (GUI) elements such as icons or buttons
Participating in meetings to discuss features or issues with other members of the development team
Analyzing data to identify problems with existing software applications and suggest solutions
Developing new computer applications, including designing code and writing documentation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Experience– Fresher
Job Requirements
Proven knowledge of basic coding languages such as C++ and JavaScript
Detail-oriented and goal-oriented
Proficient in MS Office
Able to adapt to a fast-paced work environment
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Basic programming experience.
Knowledge of databases and operating systems.
Good working knowledge of email systems and Microsoft Office software.
Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly.
Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment.
Detail-oriented.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment
Knowledge of coding languages (e.g. C++, Java, JavaScript) and frameworks/systems (e.g. AngularJS, Git)
Experience with databases and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks (e.g. Hibernate)
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
Excellent problem-solving skills
Creative thinking and outside-the-box approaches to software development
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
