POSITION SUMMARY

Job responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

• Ensure timely availability of raw materials and other inputs based on production requirement.
• Identify availability of raw materials in different regions and identify vendors/ suppliers/ farmers who can provide the quantity required.
• Develop and maintain new and existing relationship with suppliers, negotiate contracts with suppliers.
• Set standards for quality of raw materials and assess the same.
• Identify, onboard and manage field coordinators to ensure availability of raw material stock.
• Responsible for Inventory management
• Research and identify natural fibres that can be utilised to make commercial products.

· Ensure cost efficient supply chain management

Requirements:

• Willingness to travel for research / survey and material sourcing.
• Outstanding multilingual communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Attention to details, Commercial awareness
• Knowledge of different types of natural fibers available and Bamboo
• Knowledge of Import / Export procedures
