- Partner app outlet operation Hygiene:
Under this area of work, the candidate is expected to visit a partner and help them download and set up the partner and owner app as well as train them on the features of the app. Setting the partner up includes timing updation, contact details, as well as enabling the right settings on the app. The candidate will also need to train the partner on basic growth levers such as ads and discounts as well as the necessary steps required to be followed so that the app can be used by the partner as self-serve.
- Menu image coverage and description coverage:
The candidate will work with the partner and guide them towards adding images to high-impact items that will yield better conversion both for the partner as well as for Swiggy. The candidate is also expected to work with the partner to update descriptions for items on display. This will require more than 1 meeting with the partner, an the candidate is expected to help with closure of this task via follow-up with the partner.
- Sensitization for Availability:
Outlets that have high vendor holiday slots as well as outlets that perform poorly in RDC will be highlighted to the partner for addressal. The candidate is expected to highlight the impact of poor metrics on the outlet’s business performance and suggest methods to keep these metrics under Control.
- Menu updation training and other immediate support:
The candidate is expected to reach out to partners and train them on how Menu updation can be done via the Swiggy owner app and also help them resolve any long pending issues by either using existing processes for issue redressal or by highlighting to the city leadership so that the same can be resolved for the partner in a smooth manner.
- Competition benchmarking:
The candidate is also expected to track and record competition activities in a reportable format and share them with the city hierarchy or with relevant stakeholders in a timely manner. This will have to be supplemented by usage of the Daily reporting application (SalesMate)
If the selected candidate performs well in the Sales Trainee role, they will also be eligible for a full-time role after the internship. The annual CTC for the Sales manager roles is in the range of 6-7 LPA. This figure will be subject to the performance of the candidate and will be further disclosed by the Swiggy team post-performance review.
