Job Overview:
The Business Analyst will work closely with stakeholders across all levels of the organization to gather, analyze, and document business requirements. The BA will ensure that business needs are accurately captured and translated into technical requirements, leading to successful project implementation. The role involves analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement, preparing detailed reports, and recommending strategies for process optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Requirement Gathering and Analysis:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and objectives.
• Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather requirements.
• Analyze and document business processes, workflows, and data.
2. Documentation:
• Prepare detailed business requirements documents (BRDs), use cases, user stories, and functional specifications.
• Develop process flow diagrams, data models, and other documentation to support project needs.
3. Data Analysis and Reporting:
• Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Create and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis.
4. Project Management Support:
• Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects.
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely delivery of milestones.
• Track project progress and provide status updates to stakeholders.
5. Solution Design and Implementation:
• Work with technical teams to design and implement solutions.
• Validate that the implemented solution meets business requirements.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and training.
6. Stakeholder Communication:
• Serve as the liaison between business units, technology teams, and support teams.
• Facilitate meetings and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Experience:
• 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
• Experience with data analysis, reporting tools, and business intelligence software.
• Proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).
• Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
