- Process Automation support
- Identify appropriate vendor to undertake process automation of a particular system or process
- On-board the vendor and explain the project requirements to the vendor
- Define the new process and change in existing processes, job roles and organization structure
- Communicate the changes to concerned stakeholders
- Co-ordinate with IT, Operations and other business functions to ensure execution of project within pre-decided timeline
- Contribute to User Acceptance Testing
- Product development support
- Identify critical product development projects and conduct pre-project feasibility for projects in the pipeline in coordination with concerned parties (including project managers, functional heads etc.) to support in improving product portfolio
- Conduct research on product, vendor partners to liaison with, competitive and market landscape to support other functions/ departments in product development opportunities
- Interact with vendors and internal stakeholders to discuss new products and innovative features that can be added to strengthen product design
- Objective would be to expand product portfolio and to generate incremental revenue opportunities
- Relationship building
- Identify business partners (vendors, technology partners etc.) for various projects and engage in discussions (such as negotiations, business requirements etc.)
- Interact with various functions/ departments in the company to understand the requirements, seek data and provide support in execution of projects
- Engage in data sharing activities with such potential business partners
- Objective would be to generate incremental business opportunities through business tie-ups or to achieve cost savings through external vendor tie-ups for automation
- Functional review
- Develop project parameters and liaison with all concerned internal and external stakeholders to understand the business requirements and enable realistic project planning
- Define timelines for completion of projects undertaken in alignment with the organizational strategy, evaluate the progress and status against timelines and develop action plans in case of deviations
- Highlight issues/ challenges/ deviations to function/ department heads for corrective actions and manage project delivery efficiently to ensure timely delivery of projects
- Provide regular updates on the status of existing projects and overview of improvement opportunities/ projects to be undertaken in future to the superior (CEO)
- Team development
- Participate in selection process to identify the right talent for positions within the function
Identify the training needs of the team members and provide learning & development opportunities for capability enhancement of the team
