Job Description

We are seeking an energetic and creative video editor to create and edit learning videos using creative storytelling and editing techniques to produce compelling content. The ideal candidate will work closely with our team to ensure we’re creating the best video content that will appeal to learners and viewers.

Responsibilities:

• Apply current with state-of-the-art editing technology and best practices for video editing.
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry best practices to maximize efficiency.
• Research and suggest new short-form and long-form video styles to be used across YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter for both organic posts and paid ad formats.
• Ensure video content is created and delivered in line with daily posting deadlines.
• Create and/or apply animation and graphics.
• Recommend and incorporate music, sound effects, and natural sound when appropriate.
• Perform simple color correction and color grading as needed.
• Properly encode final deliverables for various platforms.
• Creating engaging video content that helps achieve marketing goals.
• Create innovative templates and formats that help scale in-house video production.

Required Candidate profile:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required.
• Strong and diverse video portfolio that shows creativity and style.
• Highly creative mind and innovative thinking capabilities.
• Skilled in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop, and Illustrator and other applications in the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of applications.
• Demonstrated ability to creatively cut to music.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment that values creativity, self-motivation, passion, innovation, candor, and accountability.
