Whether it is a singer looking for a show, a visual artist looking to sell their paintings, or job seekers with disabilities looking for career opportunities, it bridges the supply & demand side inefficiencies so that Persons with Disabilities can earn a dignified income. We have a large pool of 15,000+ talents with disabilities and have worked with 250+ corporates within a short span of 3 years. We were also featured on Shark Tank Season 2 and were declared the winner of the prestigious National Startup Award under the social impact category by the Union Government.
- Job Summary– We are seeking a dedicated Program Manager to oversee our disability hiring initiatives, providing end-to-end services from sourcing to integration and training of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) for our corporate clients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for diversity, equity and inclusion coupled with strong project management skills and a deep understanding of disability employment practices.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning- Develop and implement plans for disability hiring programs, aligning with organizational goals and client objectives
- Sourcing and Recruitment- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to identify, attract, and recruit qualified PWD candidates for corporate clients, leveraging various channels including job boards, disability organizations, and community outreach and networking
- Candidate Assessment- Conduct thorough assessments and screenings of PWD candidates to ensure alignment with client requirements and job specifications
- Client Relationship Management- Serve as the primary point of contact for corporate clients, providing regular updates, addressing inquiries, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the hiring process
- Training and Development- Design and facilitate training programs tailored to the needs of PWDs and corporate clients, focusing on skill development, workplace accommodations, and disability awareness.
- Compliance and Accessibility
- Advocacy and Outreach- Act as an advocate for disability inclusion both internally and externally, representing the organization at events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote awareness and drive engagement
- Integration Support- Collaborate with client teams to facilitate the seamless integration of PWD employees into the workplace, providing ongoing support and guidance as needed.
- Report- Track and analyze program metrics, and measure program effectiveness.
- Required Qualifications
- Proven experience and understanding of the areas of diversity, equity, and inclusion, with a focus on disability hiring.
- Strong knowledge of disability employment practices, including reasonable accommodations, accessibility standards, and assistive technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders and foster inclusive environments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Indian Sign Language is a plus.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of disability inclusion.
- Willingness to travel and being open to relocate to project sites.
