Ascentis Group Hiring for MEP Project Manager at Dhaka, Bihar, India

Job Description

• Check and comment construction drawings prepared by designers and shop drawings prepared by contractors.
• Provide MEP scheduling inputs for master programme
• Review MEP tender documents (drawings, specifications, BOQ) and evaluate bids received from contractors. Support PM for finalizing contracts.
• Supervise contractors work progress on site and monitor adequacy of resources and equipment
• Supervise contractors work quality and compliance with design documents & codes
• Manage interfaces on site between MEP contractors and other trade contractors
• Review & comments MEP contractors bills
• Negotiate change orders with contractors
• Implement strict Quality Control procedures on site
• Report on weekly basis to PM (quality, progress)

Skills and experience :

1. BE (Electrical or Mechanical)
2. Very good hands-on knowledge of electrical, HVAC, Firefighting, and plumbing works works
3. Minimum 15-20 years experience in the building construction industry in a similar managerial MEP position
4. Experience on projects with high standard of finishes
5. Good ability to read & review drawings, and communicate with designers
6. Knowledge of occupational health & safety regulations in India
7. Good command of English and ability to write minutes of meting
8. Proficient with MS Word and Excel
9. Good interpersonal and communication skills, and good reporting skills with management
