Job Description

• BS/MS in Computer Science or similar technical subject
• Self-starter, able to work on one’s own initiative with minimal supervision
• Deep understanding of blockchain and distributed ledger protocols and smart contract scripting languages (e.g. Solidity / Michelson)
• Able to think through and plan around the potential security challenges and threat vectors around an application usage
• Upto date on emerging capabilities in this fast growing area and identify where and how new capabilities can be applied
• Enthusiasm for working in a space full of unknown unknowns, pivoting as needed, and being comfortable with not knowing the road to the end goal..
• This space is moving at a tremendous speed. As such you should have a continuous learning mindset and a voracious appetite to stay abreast and a love for deep technical challenges
• Working knowledge of the following: Node.js and related tools, JavaScript, messaging systems like Kafka

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of distributed applications, consensus algorithms, and p2p protocols etc.
• Understanding of cryptography, including asymmetric (pub/privy key), symmetric, hash functions, encryption/signatures
