Position is situated at Madhepura, Bihar

This role will report to SQA Manager, Madhepura

Internal stakeholders- Production, Supply & Chain, Indus, Indus Quality, SPQD & Engineering department

External stakeholders- Vendor partners of E Loco project

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

Brief introduction & overview about the role: This role is responsible for handling vendor supplied parts and assuring REX is captured and production targets are met by supplying right quality first time. This position is responsible for achieving zero NCR target for E Loco project and hence contributing to Alstom in completing the strategic E Loco project as per timeline.

This position is opened to achieve timely completion of E-Loco project with right first time approach

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. GRN Clearance and report uploading in GSI
2. First Cut Analysis and sharing related and necessary information to the concerned SQ.
3. NCR – Raising
4. D4 Closure
5. Jail area maintenance and sending rejection back to supplier
6. Visual Management
7. Inspection of Red Channels parts or the one damaged in transportation.
8. Instruments and calibration.
9. Training on instruments/process/system/GSI/APSYS/TS for development of trainee
10. MOM with supplier and safety protocol adherence of supplier people

11. Supplier visit and part development
12. Supplier development
13. Inspection of part at supplier premises and at MELPL

Qualifications & Skills:

EDUCATION – B.E/B. Tech in Electrical or Mechanical stream with 8 plus years of experience

BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES:

You are an outstanding team player, with proven talent in organizing teams & creating effective engineering processes. You have a passion in working collaboratively with team and throughout the organization. You demonstrate excellent communication skills and able to guide, influence and convince others in a matrix organization

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE

Strong experience – or minimum 3 plus years’ of experience managing/ leading complex projects and provide technical expertise in one or more of the following areas: Electrical parts, Welded parts, Painted parts and other vendor supplied parts. Able to demonstrate the ability to use this technical knowledge in collaboration with other departments (engineering, procurement, projects). Significant experience in delivery of design, analysis, development, testing and delivery Rail industry background is highly desirable, alternatively similar industries can also be considered

• Language Skills: English and Hindi
• IT Skills: MS Office, 3D drawings understanding capability
• Location for the role – Madhepura, Bihar
• Travel 20%
