Job Title: Placement Coordinator

Job Summary: We are seeking a Placement Coordinator to join our team at AISECT University. The Placement Coordinator will work closely with students and employers to facilitate the placement of students in internships, co-op programs, and full-time positions. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and able to work independently, as well as part of a team. The candidate must also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with prospective employers, recruiters, and industry professionals to identify job and internship opportunities for students
• Assist in creating and executing strategies to promote students to prospective employers
• Work with academic departments to identify and prioritize placement opportunities for students
• Provide guidance and support to students in the job application process, including resume writing, interview preparation, and job search strategies
• Monitor and maintain accurate records of job and internship opportunities, student applications, and placement outcomes
• Organize and facilitate career fairs, employer visits, and other networking events to connect students with potential employers
• Collaborate with other career services staff to develop and deliver programs and services that support the career development of students

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• Prior experience in career services or a related field preferred
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and database management
• Familiarity with career development theories and practices
