Job Title : Circle Utility Engineer

Proposed Job Level : Sr.Executive

Function: Operation

Reporting to: Circle Operation Head

Purpose of the Job (Brief)

  • Operation & Maintenance-Infrastructure at REG Sites.
  • Deployment Of Infra Equipment.
  • Roll Out of Infra Setup at New Sites.

D eliverables (Maximum 5-6 key responsibilities)

Expected Key Results

Activities

  • Infra Uptime
  • Maintenance of Infra Equipments Like DG, SMPS, UPS ,Fire & Safety Systems by Scheduled PM to ensure 100% uptime by proactively addressing the equipment at early stage & prevent them from getting breakdown.

  • Up gradation & Expansion of Existing Sites
  • Upgrading the Infra-equipment to meet the additional requirement of active equipment’s rollout as per business requirements.
  • Planning, designing & implementation of Infrastructure for new areas to prepare it for REG setup as per BAL standard practices.

  • Replacement of EOL equipment.
  • Maintaining & tracking of EOL equipment list & ensure timely replacement of those equipment across all the REG locations.

  • Co-ordination with OEM & AMC Vendors
  • Tracking & monitoring of the key deliverables of OEM & AMC vendor to ensure quality work as per SOW.

  • Capex & Opex optimization
  • Ensuring the optimum utilization of the existing equipment & plan the new equipment in consideration of the techno commercial aspects those ensure the proper utilization of the capex.
  • Maintain all the equipment’s hygiene & operational to ensure their optimum efficiency utilization to avoid losses & further reduction in opex.

  • Ensuring BAL standard practices for Infra & Safety.
  • Audit of all the core REG location to ensure BAL standard practices & all the Safety norms are being adhered to further ensure business continuity.

Prime: Final Decision Making authority, accountable to the Management

Shared: Decisions reached jointly with peers on a collective basis

  • Rectification of fault in critical hours.
  • EOL equipment replacement.
  • Planning & deployment of new Infrastructure.
Contributory: Makes a major contribution to a decision or policy judgment reached by others

  • Validating all the Infra MIS data of all the REG location.
  • Verifying the BOQ of all the new projects.
  • Validating PM checklist of all the core locations.

D emonstrate (Key competencies)

Should Have Excellent knowledge on Infrastructure equipment’s and REG set-up

Should be process oriented, need to ensure processes & guidelines of BAL.

Need to have enough knowledge & Experience of Planning & implementation of Infra project.

Educational Level

Must have:

  • Diploma of Engineering.

Working Experience

Must have:

  • 3-5 Years

i) Revenue:- Would be handling critical REG locations of HPHP circle which transits huge traffic of mobility, TNL and AB customers.
