Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Freelance Database Administrator (DBA) for a 7-day contract at our client’s location. The primary task will be to migrate a database from Oracle 11g to 19c. As a DBA, you will be responsible for the successful migration, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. We will provide accommodation and transportation during the contract period.

Responsibilities:

• Perform the migration of the Oracle 11g database to Oracle 19c.
• Manage database changes and redesigns to meet project requirements.
• Analyze and troubleshoot any database issues, implementing necessary configurations or optimizations.
• Drive automation of database-related processes and code to improve efficiency.
• Monitor database performance, security, and speed to ensure high levels of reliability and availability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Technology, or a related field of study.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a Database Administrator (DBA).
• Proven knowledge and expertise in working with SQL Servers.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
