Roles Responsibilities

Handling Attending Emergencies, attend emergency calls (like: Fire incident/toxic leak/rescue etc.) turn out with fire jeep to attend emergency

• Provide the emergency support to handle the emergency during emergency situations
• Work as per organization requirements obey the instructions from EHS dept.
• All type of Fire Extinguisher Maintenance Inspection
• Inspection of Manual Call Points Fire alarm panels
• Maintenance Inspection of Fire Hydrant, Hose box, Hose reel hose, Air release valve
• Maintenance Inspection of Sprinkler System HVWS system, Safety Shower, SCBA Sets
• Inspection of Fire Sand Buckets, PPE Cupboards, Windsocks, Inspection of Airline respirators Cartridge masks
• Inspection of all valves installed on the Fire Fighting System (I.e., Fire chamber valves, Valves installed at Pump House, Riser valves etc.)
• Man, the fire pump house Plant round with Security Officer
• Operation of all Fire Pumps as per schedule and during emergency
• Provide stand by support during critical jobs (like: Hot works, Vessel operation at JNPT etc.) as instructed by EHS dept./Shift In-charge
• Periodical inspection of plant area for safe storage of material ensure that no combustible / flammable material is not present.
• Timely Filling of logbooks inspection reports follow instructions from shift incharge, EHS dept. given time to time reporting to Fire/EHS Officer in-charge.
• Daily inspection of Fire Jeep Plant Round ensure fire jeep is working condition
• Area wise inspection of all Firefighting Safety related systems (other than routine inspections)
