ALM is seeking a senior creative marketing professional to join our growing non-profit initiative.
As the Marketing Manager, you will be in charge of ALM’s Marketing that amplifies
Adivasi/tribal/indigenous voices. And you will be assigned work with a dynamic team in creating and facilitating conversations on Adivasis/tribals. Be part of a team working to increase awareness of Adivasi topics and conversations through traditional and new-age media.

Responsibilities:

1. Developing marketing strategies for the organization and its digital storytelling projects.

2. Expand ALM’s network, community, relationships, outreach, and impact via all social media platforms.

3. Work with the entire team to identify and create content (textual/ audio-visual) across programs to represent the organization’s work on social media and website.

4. Generate collaboration leads and strategize and implement media and content collaborations with organizations in and outside our network.

5. Spot topic and content trends and developments in the space and work with the content team on executing ideas related to these trends.

6. Responsible for overall content on the digital marketing platforms, design, build and maintain multiple digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns.

7. Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assesses against goals and adapt strategy accordingly.

8. Coordinate and work together with creators across different states to ensure maximum reach for their stories.

Eligibility:

ALM has team members from across India so we are looking for the following qualities in the applicants:

1. Proven experience as Marketing Manager or similar role. (3-5 years)

2. Must be proficient in English, Hindi and/or Tamil.

3. Understanding, knowledge, respect of and towards Adivasi and Tribal issues, rights and culture.

4. A natural curiosity towards tech and proficiency of storytelling.

5. Experience in design and delivery of multichannel/digital tactics, Operational experience of digital marketing programs and campaigns.

6. Demonstrate ability to collaborate/partner with cross functional teams/ Vendor / Consultancy /
Agency management.

7. Skills and experience in creative content writing.

8. Analytical mindset, critical thinking, and decision-making skills

9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to lead and work with a remote team.

10. Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate.

11. Applicants should have a laptop and access to fast and consistent internet connection.
