We are seeking to appoint inspirational and ambitious Curriculum Managers to lead the provision within a faculty area and campus with responsibility for the quality of planning, delivering and assessing students and apprentices learning and progress to ensure that they achieve their full potential both in terms of outcomes and employability.

Role

Reporting to the Faculty Director, the successful candidates will provide strong leadership in curriculum development and design, creating an engaging learning environment aligned with our Learning philosophy. The role will be expected to:

  • Oversee the implementation, and continuous improvement of the curriculum, in line with our Learning Philosophy and learner journey.
  • Deliver and report on quality performance targets and student/apprentice outcomes.
  • Effectively manage the curriculum delivery including oversight of recruitment, enrolment, retention, achievement and success.
  • Onboard and ensure ongoing development of teachers and assessors to improve team performance and improve teaching, learning and assessment practice, with a corresponding improvement in the student experience and outcomes.

To be successful in this role

  • You will have proven leadership experience achieved at a Faculty Manager level, together with a thorough understanding of what makes for excellent evidence-based teaching, learning and assessment and how to monitor it effectively.
  • You will have a proven track record of driving up standards and outcomes for learners and together with a teaching qualification, will possess highly developed practitioner skills that demonstrate leading-edge practice in the delivery of teaching and learning.
  • You will demonstrate an inspiring and authentic leadership style, with excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Your strong belief in the Learning Philosophy led culture which puts learners and learning at the heart of the organisation, will be evident through your attributes, behaviours, and track record.
