Job Description:
Sales Executive
This job description sets out the scope of the role of Sales Executive at ACME, together with the main duties of the position at the date when it was completed. Scope of role
- Bring in new business Customers for ACME’s, Sales and services
- Actively pursue opportunities within a broad range of clients convenience and done sales of ACME’s and providers service
- Manage the complete sales process from lead generation to closing the sale
- Contact prospects using inside sales methods, including cold calling, Field Visit, meeting, online chat, conference calls
- Represent ACME at conferences and client meetings as required to present company and information regarding service and sales in order to obtain new business
- Position reports to the Head of Sales

Key Responsible Area (Sales Executive)
- Present, promote and sales /services using creative conversation to prospective customers
- Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of potential customers to meet their needs
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
- A sales professional ideally should spend his maximum time in field to achieve targets in the best possible way.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of ACME’s sales and services
- Collect market intelligence and analyze competitors
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
- Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports
- Service management with reports on customer needs problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new sales and services.
- If you have promised someone to meet at 5pm, make sure you are there at the desired venue at 4.45 pm sharp. Don’t make silly excuses. Trust is lost when commitments are taken back. There should be no turning back.
- The customers must be able to depend on the sales professionals. A sense of trust is important.
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
- Never misguide the customers. Be honest with them. Avoid telling lies and creating fake stories.
- A sales professional must know how to change his sales pitch as per the client. Don’t just stick to one plan or one idea.
- A sales professional needs to be aggressive and energetic. Lazy individuals don’t make great sales professionals.
- A sales representative who is committed towards his work manages to do well and make his mark as compared to others. Commitment in fact is essential in all areas of work.
- Mere sitting at office does not help in sales. One needs to go out, meet more and more people and make prospective clients. Don’t complain if it is too hot or cold outside.
- Learn to take quick decisions as per the situation. Be adaptable to changes. People in sales should not be too rigid and demanding.
- Don’t hide things from the customers. Transparency is essential to avoid problems later on.
- Convey only what your product offers.
