Our client is a leading firm in the IT services and consulting industry looking for a senior SAS developer. You are responsible for building the applications that power these processes. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and design solutions that

meet those requirements.

Tasks

• Providing technical support to business units or other departments on issues related to their use of technology solutions;
• Developing new applications or enhancing existing applications based on customer requirements;
• Designing or creating databases to store data and provide retrieval capabilities as needed by an organization;
• Reviewing plans created by other developers to ensure they meet industry standards and best practices;
• Documenting all aspects of a project, from start to finish, including identifying problem areas that need to be addressed;
• Analyzing data for patterns or trends to determine factors that influence outcomes;
• Testing software applications to ensure they perform as intended;

Requirements

• Bachelors/Masters in Computer science or related field;
• SAS Web Report Studio;
• SAS Visual Analytics & Statistics;
• Depth understanding of statistics;
• Knowledge of TDMS systems, products and processes is an asset ;
• Hands on experience in SDTM, ADAM, TLF datasets and specifications;
• Good understanding of SAS platform, software, base SAS, macros, UNIX scripting and CRON;
• Advanced knowledge of programming languages including JavaScript, HTML5, Java, C++, and PHP;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Ability to communicate with individuals at various levels within the organization and with external clients/vendors;
