Overview: An Equity Research Analyst and Trader plays a dual role in the financial markets, combining in-depth

research and analysis of equities with the execution of trades based on that research.

Key Responsibilities:

Research and Analysis:

· Conduct thorough analysis of publicly traded companies, including financial statement analysis, competitive

analysis, and industry trends.

· Develop financial models to forecast company performance and valuation.

· Analyze economic and market trends and their impact on specific industries and companies.

Report Writing:

· Prepare detailed equity research reports, including buy/sell/hold recommendations.

· Write periodic updates on companies under coverage, reflecting new data, earnings reports, and industry

developments.

Compliance:

· Ensure that all research and analysis comply with regulatory standards and company policies.

Trade Execution:

· Develop and maintain proprietary trading models, incorporating technical indicators, historical data, and

predictive analytics to identify trading opportunities.

· Execute equity trades based on research insights, portfolio allocations, and market conditions.

· Implement trading strategies utilizing various methods.

Market Analysis:

· Analyze market trends, news, and events that could impact equity prices and trading strategies.

· Analyze macroeconomic indicators, market trends, and geopolitical events that could impact equity markets.

· Use technical/fundamental analysis and other trading tools to identify trading opportunities.

Risk Management:

· Manage risk exposure by setting stop-loss orders, hedging positions, and ensuring adherence to risk

management guidelines.

· Monitor portfolio performance and adjust positions as needed to achieve desired risk/return profiles.
