Job Title: Collections Manager – Unsecured Business Loan

Industry: Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC)

Experience: 3-8 Years

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage collections for unsecured business loan portfolios.
• Develop and implement strategies to reduce delinquency and improve recovery rates.
• Monitor daily collections, track overdue accounts, and ensure timely follow-ups.
• Lead a team of collection officers, providing guidance and support for optimal performance.
• Liaise with borrowers for repayment negotiations and settlements, while adhering to regulatory norms.
• Coordinate with legal teams for recovery through legal channels when necessary.
• Analyze collection performance, generate reports, and provide insights for improving processes.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and RBI guidelines related to collections.

Key Skills:

• Strong knowledge of unsecured business loans and NBFC operations.
• Expertise in handling high-volume collections and recovery processes.
• Proficient in data analysis, reporting, and MS Office tools.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks governing NBFCs and loan recovery.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• MBA or relevant post-graduate qualification is a plus.

Preferred Experience:

• 3-8 years of experience in collections management for unsecured business loans.
• Prior experience in NBFC or financial services sector is preferred
