Project Duration– 1 year
Experience- 10 years’ relevant experience related to the duties and responsibilities specified below. Only candidates with Experience of handling multilateral projects in the domain of health and livelihood need to apply.
Education: MSW / Masters in Rural Management, and Masters in Public Health Administration will be given preference) OR equivalent relevant qualification in Social Sciences
Job Description-
CDOT is looking for a Project Head who will be responsible for overall management, supervision, reporting and relationship management of the Project in line with the set goal, objectives, indicators and timelines. The draft roles and responsibilities will include but are not limited to-
Project Designing and Planning
- Plan, design and provide direct supervision of the implementation of project activities to ensure that deadlines are met and activities produce quality outputs
- Design and develop project strategies including communication and gender strategies
- Develop monitoring and evaluation tools for the project to ensure effective monitoring of each individual activity
- Conduct weekly, monthly and quarterly project planning, review and progress meetings with project team
- Ensure that project activities are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Support the project team in developing and updating the project risk register
Coordination and Communication
- Keep in regular coordination with the project team and provide guidance on the project activities
- Maintain regular coordination and supporting project beneficiaries to build and enhance their ownership
- Establish and manage relationships with partners and key stakeholders
- Support, manage and supervise a big size project and field teams in conducting activities and motivating them to achieve the project and organizational goals
- Support the project team in ensuring and maintaining comprehensive project documentation (including Monthly plans, Activity and Review Reports)
- Support the team in designing and developing the training manuals and facilitate the trainings with the team and project beneficiaries
- Facilitate the workshops and events as part of the project activities
- Technical input on development, printing and dissemination of IEC material
- Producing high quality project documents like monthly & quarterly project report, case studies, social media content, survey reports
Field Visits and Monitoring
- 10-15 days field visit in the project locations in Bihar and Jharkhand
- Designing and developing survey questionnaire and facilitating households survey at a large scale
- Regular monitoring visits and data reporting, oversee MIS and data analysis
- Responsible for weekly, monthly review meetings with senior management and team
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
- Any other tasks, as assigned by the Supervisor
Candidate Profile- Experience of handling multilateral projects in the domain of health and livelihood. Should have good communication skills of both Hindi & English. Must have good computer skills in MS office-word, excel and power point. Willing to travel extensively in Bihar and Jharkhand.
