Job Description – State Program Manager (Bihar)

Role: State Program Manager – 10BedICU Project (www.10bedicu.org)

Organization: eGovernments Foundation (www.egov.org.in)                          Base Location – Patna

Basic Qualification: Master’s Degree preferably in Social Work, Rural Development, Public Health or Management. May be relaxed for candidates with relevant experience in healthcare sector. Preference will be given to candidates with Medical Education background.

 

Responsibilities

●    Project Management

○           Overall responsibility for implementation of the 10BedICU Project

○           Field Activities for smooth implementation of the Project

○           Ensure ICU and Tele-ICU Units are set up and functional

○           Ensure deployment and field-adoption of Technology Platforms

○           Collaborate with, Support and Mentor external stakeholders

○           Communitization of the Project by strengthening of District Health Society/Rogi Kalyan Samitis for sustainability of ICUs

○           Support Knowledge Management by documentation of cases, learnings, etc.

○           Facilitate conduction of activities, events, trainings, etc. at Project Hospitals

○           Communication and feedback with Internal Team to report field level challenges and recommend corrective actions

●    Government Engagement

○           Build and maintain strong relationship with State’s Health Department, NHM, District Health Directorate and other relevant stakeholders

○           Facilitate approvals, orders, advisories, etc. as needed for smooth implementation of Project

○           Work closely with the State to mainstream/converge/embed the project overall state health strategy/programs

●    Stakeholder Management

○           Manage, balance and direct the activities of all Stakeholders such as Government, Partners, Donors, Community, Vendors, Trainers and Health Facilities towards achieving Project outcomes

○           Liaison at local level with suppliers, vendors, logistics etc. to resolve field issues

●                Result-driven and a proven track record in delivering complex projects.

●                Must be a Good Team Player and quick learner

●                Must have Good communication skills

Salary – Up to Rs 18 LPA, but may be negotiated further depending on experience and qualification
