As the Director of App Innovation Business for Azure. you will lead and manage a team of App Sales Managers, App Sales Specialist and App technical managers with deep expertise across App landscape in Enterprise business in India. In this position you will have the opportunity to lead the innovative and thought leading App conversation with some of the most fast paced and tech savvy companies, while enabling and leading the career development and growth of your team You are expected to cerate and lead a high energy team while building a collaborative and inclusive culture. All of this while being part of one of the most dynamic and innovative segments in the tech market today. You will need to demonstrate your expertise in leading Data and AI customer facing teams, expertise in the Data and AI space, as well as driving a positive, inclusive and high energy culture.
This role is responsible for covering the India Azure App Innovation Business across the Enterprise Businesses.

Responsibilities
- Manage a team of Azure App Sellers covering Enterprise customers in their respective territory.
- You will be accountable for the App Innovation business, and play a key role in driving sales, nurturing customer relationships, driving alignment and partnership with internal stakeholders (Account teams, Customer Success teams, Engineering and product leadership teams), and customer/partner stakeholders, inclusive of BDMs and ITDMs (CIO, Chief Data Officer, Chief Analytics Officer, etc).
- Be a thought leader and build trust with key technical decision makers and influencers across customers and partners. Provide clarity on enterprise wide App migration, modernization and transformation. Be comfortable addressing topics like information security, data governance, and compliance.
- Lead with AI business transformation across the Enterprise business as a part of the App migration and modernizarion plan
- Experienced at building and maintaining relationships with business leaders from top Azure Data & AI Global System Integrators and Partners.
- Drive operational excellence, including pipleline management, accurate deal forecasts, and providing high-quality insights
- Possess cross-team collaboration and communication skills. Be effective at partnering with all required Microsoft stakeholders in the subsidiary and Asia region to drive role clarity, account coverage, project assignment and effective cross-team collaboration
- Hire, on-board, and develop App Specialist sellers. Be able to set a clear bar for excellence and build a high performing team that will be diverse and inclusive.
- Coach and enable teams to identify, qualify and accelerate Azure App pipeline, solve for blockers and escalations
Qualifications
- 15+ years of relevant experience in sales, team management, application development etc.
