As a Career Counselor specializing in the AVGC industry, you will play a pivotal role in guiding individuals towards successful careers in animation, visual effects, gaming, and comics.

*Responsibilities:*

• Provide personalized career counseling sessions to individuals interested in pursuing careers in the AVGC industry.
• Stay updated on trends, advancements, and opportunities within the AVGC industry.
• Assist clients in selecting appropriate educational programs, courses, and certifications relevant to their career goals.
• Provide insights into job market trends and recruitment processes within the AVGC industry.
• Work collaboratively with clients to develop long-term career plans, set achievable goals, and create action plans to progress towards their objectives.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance throughout their career journey.

*Qualifications:*

• Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of the AVGC industry, including animation techniques, visual effects software, game development processes, and comic book publishing.
• Previous experience in same industry will add an advantage.
• Previous experience in career counseling, coaching, or advising role preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to empathize with clients and understand their unique career needs.
• Proficiency in conducting assessments, interpreting results, and providing actionable feedback.
• Familiarity with educational institutions, training programs, and industry networks within the AVGC sector.
