Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for an Area Development Manager at VFS Capital. The Area Development Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the microfinance operations within their assigned area. This includes developing and implementing strategies to expand the microfinance portfolio, building and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders, evaluating creditworthiness, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines. The Area Development Manager will also provide leadership and guidance to the field staff and contribute to the overall growth and success of VFS Capital.

• Proven track record of achieving targets and driving business growth
• Ability to analyze financial data and assess creditworthiness
• Proficiency in using financial software and tools
• Knowledge of local market conditions and customer needs
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Fluency in local language(s) is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field
