About The Role

We are currently recruiting for a Policy and Research Analyst to join our Strategy Team and drive the use of research, evidence and analysis in decision-making. The Analyst will conduct comprehensive research and analysis to help us in developing innovative solutions to critical challenges in education and skills. This analysis will be used to support the development of new programmes, respond to funding opportunities and contribute to national and regional policy debates.

What do you need to be a Policy and Research Analyst at Activate Learning?

This role does not require specific qualifications or experience, but you should be curious, analytical, and possess exceptional interpersonal skills for building relationships. You must be able to confidently communicate complex ideas, demonstrate excellent writing skills, and exhibit creative problem-solving, critical thinking, and Activate Learning’s leadership attributes. A background in writing funding proposals for the public sector and experience in educational delivery would be advantageous. Knowledge of government policies linked to Further Education would be beneficial.
