Reporting Relationship: Manager, Public Health —> Head, Public Health
Locations: Jamshedpur, Jharkhand
Purpose of the Role: Provide comprehensive leadership for MANSI+ program of TSF in Gumla & Keonjhar districts in Jharkhand and Keonjhar respectively. The incumbent is expected to plan, implement, monitor and evaluate the program with special focus of timely deliverables and completion of listed activities, monitoring of the program and evaluation in terms of KPIs achieved. S(he) shall be required to ensure timely submission of project and accounts reports as required. Should have good technical knowledge of maternal child and adolescent health and experience of having managed large scale MCH programs in preventive and promotive mode.
Key Deliverables:
- Assist Head, Community Health Initiatives in providing strategic, professional, and managerial leadership & guidance to MANSI+ program of TSF.
- Plan, review, monitor and evaluate the impact of the programs / initiatives through / with the help of respective stakeholders.
- Undertake regular and appropriate professional and managerial training/up-skilling of all TSF Staff in the program.
- Engage with external/internal stakeholders on matters concerning the program in a constructive manner.
- Identify community health challenges and explore innovative tools to address those issues in an effective manner.
- Regular interaction with state/district level health officials for updating project progress and getting inputs of upcoming schemes or initiatives by National Health Mission.
- Design the impact study tool and undertake study of the project.
- Independently undertake all daily management and administrative tasks related to MANSI+ program.
Minimum experience in years: 3 years. Experience in managing Mother and Child Health (MCH) programs will be preferred.
Minimum Qualification:
- Master’s in Public Health (MPH) from a recognized Institute.
- Additional professional qualifications/experience related to Public Health/ Public Health Administration shall be given due weightage.

Technical Skill Sets Required:
- Project Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation
- Public Health Management
- Financial Management in relation to public health projects
- Good drafting skills in relation to public health proposals
- Should be able to guide project teams based on scientific public health principles
- Should have good knowledge of epidemiology and biostatistics, communicable diseases, maternal and child health and all public health domains.
