Support Personnel for Accounting Software

Description

Technix is seeking an experienced and dedicated Support Personnel to join our Accounting and Financial Department. This role is crucial for providing excellent support to users of our flagship products, BusinessBook Plus (BB+) and Technix Cooperative And Microfinance Software (TCAMS). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, particularly within small and medium enterprises, cooperative societies, or micro-finance organizations, and experience with accounting software.

Responsibility

  • Provide technical support and assistance to BusinessBook Plus and TCAMS users via phone, email, and chat.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the software’s functionalities, including accounting, inventory management, data migration, GST compliance, member registration, deposit management, loan management, account management, and reporting.
  • Assist users in setting up and configuring the software to meet their business and organizational needs.
  • Conduct training sessions and create user guides and tutorials to help users maximize the software’s potential.
  • Collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve software bugs and suggest improvements.
  • Maintain detailed records of user interactions, issues, and resolutions.
  • Stay updated with the latest features and updates of BusinessBook Plus, TCAMS, and other relevant accounting and cooperative Society management software.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working in accounting roles within small and medium enterprises, cooperative societies, or micro-finance organizations.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, BusinessBook Plus (BB+), or TCAMS.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, account receivable/payable, depreciation, bank reconciliation, cash flow management, financial statements, GST and tax compliance, and interest calculations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Customer-focused with a commitment to providing high-quality support.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Notes

  • Experience in training or teaching users on accounting, microfinance and cooperative society management software, Familiarity with additional accounting tools and software integrations and Knowledge of data security and backup processes.
