Job Description:-

  • RSM will be responsible to prepare and analyse monthly and annual sales data for each product and territory. Adjust and allocate targets to regions and sales representatives based on feasibility.
  • He will be responsible to review and analyse the performance of the sales team. Participate in strategic discussions during regional sales meetings and cycle meetings conducted by Product Management Team.
  • He will be responsible to collaborate with the marketing team to provide inputs for brand strategy development. Ensure the execution of the brand strategy by the sales team. Propose ideas for special promotions to senior management for approval.
  • He will be responsible for Customer Relationship Management. Maintain relationships with key customers and opinion leaders. Conduct regular visits and communications to strengthen customer rapport.
  • He will be responsible to provide insights for identifying Continuing Medical Education (CME) needs to the management team. Co-ordinate with the team to organize successful CME events for customers.
  • He will be responsible for new product conceptualization and pre-launch review, New Product Post Launch Audit.
  • He will be responsible for team development, lead recruitment efforts and conduct goal setting for team members. Conduct regular performance appraisals and identify training needs and provide development opportunities, necessary coaching for team member.

Educational qualification – A graduate degree in any Science stream. MBA/PGDBM desired.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • RSM will be responsible for a defined region as an independent profit center and will have several ASMs and Professional Sales Representative reporting to him.
  • Proficiency in sales forecasting to predict market demand and allocate resources effectively.
  • Knowledge in Pharma product.
  • Ability to analyse sales data, track performance metrics, and generate reports to measure the effectiveness of sales strategies.
  • Candidates with exposure of handling products in Paedia, Gynea, Ortho, CP/GP will be preferred.
  • Candidate should be based at Patna.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skill

Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience required in ethical promotion of pharmaceutical company.
