Our client is bidding for the consulting services under Japanese ODA Loans for Patna Metro in India to: – Review Bidding Documents – Construction supervision (including Quality investigation, Safety Management, assistance for Commissioning and DLP) – O&M Support (including technology transfer & capacity development and & institutional arrangement) Patna, the capital of Bihar, is one of the oldest cities in the world and is the center of social, cultural, economic and political life of the State. It is an important business center of Eastern India and also a gateway to the Buddhist and Jain pilgrimage centers of Vaishali, Rajgir, Nalanda, Bodhgaya and Pawapuri.. The consultancy i to start in 2024 and go to 2029. Our client is looking for a number of key people including the Chief Track Engineer who will be responsible to – Review existing Track specification and update Employer”s Requirements. – Prepare list and specification for Equipment for Track Work with other experts concerned with Track. – Prepare electrical and mechanical basic design of Track. – Prepare tender documents for a contract for Track procurement. – Attend the pre-bid conference and prepare answers to the questions raised by bidders related to Track. – Technically evaluate documents submitted by bidders. – Verify completed work and prepare request for payment to contractors – Certify progress claim from Contractor.

• Graduate in in any branch of Engineering. – Experience in infrastructure Projects: 20 years or more. – Experience in Metro/Rail Projects: 10 years or more. – At least one metro project experience of Chief Track Engineer.
