Key Responsibilities
- Plan and Deliver Lessons: Create engaging lesson plans that meet the educational needs of students.
- Assess Student Progress: Regularly evaluate and report on student performance.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a positive learning environment and manage classroom behavior effectively.
- Curriculum Development: Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine the English curriculum.
- Parent Communication: Keep parents informed about their child’s progress and participate in parent-teacher meetings.
- Professional Development: Stay current with educational best practices and integrate new teaching methods as appropriate.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in English, English Literature, or a related field.
- A teaching certification (B.Ed) with a specialization in English.
- A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at the secondary level.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- A patient and resilient personality, dedicated to student education and development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in English or Education.
- Experience with the national curriculum and English language requirements.
- Familiarity with various teaching methods and educational technologies.
