Position- Rural Marketing Manager for Bihar and Jharkhand
Base Location- Patna
Experience- 5-12 years’ relevant experience related to the duties and responsibilities specified below. Only candidates with Experience of handling marketing / multilateral projects in the domain of health and livelihood need to apply.
Education: MSW / Masters in Rural Management, and Masters in Business Administration (Marketing) will be given preference OR equivalent relevant qualification in Social Sciences and Marketing
Job Description-
CDOT is looking for a Marketing Manager with expertise in Rural Marketing who will be responsible for overall marketing management of the Project in line with the set goal, objectives, indicators and timelines. The draft roles and responsibilities will include but are not limited to-
· The Manager Marketing will be working as the facilitator in promoting health care products in Community Health Facilitator program. S/He will be responsible for market linkages and value chain development of the health commodities in the program.
Specific tasks include:-
· Identification of new business leads and maintain commercially viable partnerships between the vendors and CHFs in the program.
· Develop and maintain business relationships with organized retail, institutional sellers to negotiate healthcare product buckets at customized price range for our Community Health Facilitators.
· Provide implementation-level support to the health program team on all marketing-related activities such as setting up aggregation systems, on ground training, support in inventory and distribution channels.
· Help establish business linkages bringing marketing connections with the vendors, buyers as well as signed marketing contracts for health products.
· Support and monitor compliance to all sale and business related documentation.
· Help CHFs on-ground problem solving, including negotiating with vendors and service providers, liaison with the local government department if needful etc.
· Support the Project Team on other thematic areas and reporting within the program.
· Any other project activity as the need arises or advised by project leadership team
Key requirements:
– Minimum of 5-12 years of experience in a similar position with extensive knowledge in marketing of health commodities and market linkages of the commodity value chain.
– Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse team, spread across diverse geographies and to deliver in a time-bound program.
– Should have familiarity in managing market research, sales, and business planning.
– Excellent communication skills (written and oral both Hindi and English)
– Ability to manage multiple project deliverables simultaneously
