Job Opening

Position: Senior Accountant  

Qualification: B.Com / MBA / CA

Location: Patna, Bihar  

Type: Full-time, Office-based  

Experience: 7-8 years

Skills:

* Proficiency in accounting software like SAP/Zoho and CRM tools and microsoft tools like Excel/Word etc.. 

* Knowledge of latest financial regulations and compliance standards. 

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

*In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

*Relevant certification (e.g. CMA or CPA) will be preferred.

Responsibilities:

* Financial Reporting. 

*Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.

* Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. 

*Assist with tax audits and tax returns.

* Conduct regular financial analysis to provide insights into company performance. 

* Budgeting and Forecasting. 

* Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and forecasts. 

* Monitor actual performance against budgets and provide variance analysis. 

* Cost Accounting.

* Implement and maintain cost accounting systems to track and analyse production costs. 

* Monitoring and organising Tax Compliance. 

* Excellent book keeping.

* Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and filing requirements. 

* Coordinate with external tax consultants and auditors for accurate and timely submissions. 

* Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets. 

* Conduct periodic internal audits to ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures. 

* Manage vendor payments, including invoicing, payment processing, and reconciliation. 

* Negotiate favourable terms with suppliers to optimise cash flow.

* Financial Planning. 

*Ensure compliance with GAAP principles.

*Liaise with our authorised CA/CS firm and work in coherence for timely tax filings to improve financial procedures.

* Provide financial data and analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making. 

* Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

*Train and develop efficient accounting workforce.
