Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and result-driven Business Development Manager to lead and drive our solar rooftop power projects targeting commercial and industrial consumers in Jamshedpur. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, a deep understanding of industrial sales, and a proven track record of generating leads, managing client relationships, and closing deals.
Responsibilities:
– Identify, target, and engage potential commercial and industrial clients for solar rooftop power projects.
– Develop and execute effective business development strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the company’s solar energy market share.
– Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their energy needs and providing tailored solar solutions.
– Lead negotiations, prepare proposals, and close deals while ensuring favorable terms for both the client and the company.
– Confidently connect and communicate directly with Directors and CEOs of prospective customers.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams including technical experts, project managers, and engineers to ensure seamless project delivery.
– Stay updated on industry trends, solar technology advancements, and government incentives to leverage opportunities for business growth.
– Represent KGDC Enterprises LLP at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and network with potential clients.
– Provide regular reports on sales activities, deal pipelines, and market insights to the senior management team.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Engineering (B.Tech Electrical preferred), or related field (MBA a plus).
– Proven experience in business development within Industrial or B2B sales domain.
– Strong network of contacts within the commercial and industrial sectors.
– Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive results.
– Familiarity with relevant regulations, incentives, and policies related to solar energy projects.
– Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.
