What we are looking as a Area Sales Manager:

A person should be a key incharge of executing the company’s business in assigned territory.

Responsible for maintaining customer relationships, meeting sales targets, and ensuring efficient sales operations within a specific geographical area.

1. Build and foster strong customer relationships within a particular region.

2. Oversee daily sales operations of sales representatives, train sales people under in his team, develop effective sales.

3. Travelling through out in an assigned area to train and guide company sales representatives.

4. Continually meeting or exceeding sales targets by persuading customers within the region to purchase company products.

5. Develop innovative sales strategies to increase sales. Develop current and new market.

6. Conducting surveys to better understand customer needs.

7. Ensuring brand awareness within assigned region meets company expectations.

8. Motivating Sales Representatives to achieve sales targets and evaluating their performance based on their ability or inability to achieve sales targets.

9. Monitoring competitor’s sales activity and any promotional schemes.

10. Attending trade shows to promote company’s products and services.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience as Territory Sales Officer or Incharge or similar role, minimum of 3 years.
  • Experience with B2C segment, retail sales, making of super stockiest, distributors, who can also handle a team of ISRs, SOs, TSI.
  • Have sound knowledge of General Trade and market penetration.
  • Should be from similar industry will be an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or similar degree is must.
