Job Title: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – Aadivasi Welfare Foundation

Location: Jamshedpur/Mumbai/Bangalore

Report to: Director

Principal Responsibilities:

• Developing environmental, and rural development projects with the experienced ground team to create project inventory
• Set up systems for all programs, operations, reporting, and quality initiatives.
• Explore new corporate partnership opportunities for developing holistic rural development projects in tribal education, livelihood projects
• Participate in preparing and submitting the annual Report/Progress Report as required
• Oversee overall operational management like HR, Admin, compliance, regulatory matters, and Finance of the foundation
• Hiring the right employees. Lead, motivate, and mentor the team toward achieving common goals.
• Build a sustainable network of key stakeholders and pitch proposals.
• Ensure the organization’s financial stability and sustainability by raising funds
• Develop new corporate donor accounts across India to acquire funds
• Negotiate terms, project costs with funders for long-term associations ensuring sustainability
• Monitor program implementation progress per MoUs with donors, submit timely reports

Qualifications:

• MBA/ master’s in social services/marketing.sales or a similar degree. Passionate individuals working in the social sector with a business development background can also apply
• At least 8-10 years of experience with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership position.
• Proven ability to conceptualize, analyze, innovate, plan, and execute ideas.
• Strong background and work experience in Financial Management and
• Administration, start-up background preferred
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including strong presentation and
• persuasive ability, strong negotiations, sales and marketing skills
• Fluency in English and knowledge of Hindi are essential.
