Title: PeopleSoft Developer URGENTLY NEEDED

Job Overview: As a PeopleSoft Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining PeopleSoft applications to support the organization’s business processes and operations. You will collaborate with functional teams, system administrators, and end-users to understand their requirements and translate them into effective PeopleSoft solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Customization and Configuration: Customize and configure PeopleSoft modules to align with the organization’s business processes, including but not limited to HR, finance, supply chain, and procurement.

Software Development: Develop and modify PeopleSoft application components, such as pages, records, fields, and workflows, using PeopleTools (e.g., Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface).

Integration: Design and implement integrations between PeopleSoft and other systems or applications using integration tools and technologies like Integration Broker, XML, and web services.

Data Management: Manage and manipulate data within PeopleSoft databases, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security.

Testing: Conduct unit testing, system testing, and integration testing to ensure the reliability and functionality of PeopleSoft applications.

Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, technical manuals, and change logs.

Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for PeopleSoft applications, addressing issues, bugs, and enhancement requests.

Security: Ensure the security and access controls of PeopleSoft applications comply with organizational policies and industry regulations.

Training: Train end-users and colleagues on the usage of PeopleSoft applications and tools.

Stay Informed: Stay up-to-date with PeopleSoft updates, patches, and new features, and assess their impact on the organization’s systems.

Qualifications :B.Tech/B.E/MCA

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

Proven experience as a PeopleSoft Developer or similar role.

Proficiency in PeopleTools, including PeopleCode, Application Designer, and Component Interface.

Knowledge of PeopleSoft modules and applications relevant to the organization’s needs.

Strong SQL and database management skills.

Experience with integration technologies and methodologies.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Understanding of security best practices in PeopleSoft.

Optional Qualifications:

PeopleSoft certification(s).

Experience with PeopleSoft update manager (PUM) and PeopleSoft Fluid User Interface.

Familiarity with PeopleSoft PeopleTools 8.5x or later.
