- The Business development Manager is responsible for driving sales and achieving sales targets for the assigned channel partner/bank branches through the distribution network.
- The Channel Partner is the key customer of the Business Development Manager, and they must build an open and trusting relationship with the Branch Managers/officers/staff.
- The Business Development Manager needs to engage with the employees of the channel partner/bank branches/distributor to transfer knowledge about insurance.
- They must ensure that all service requests are processed in a timely manner.
- They must spearhead all lead generation initiatives from the bank, whether through walk-ins, data mining, referrals, etc.
