Position Overview:
The role of a Textile Designer and Illustrator involves creating unique and visually appealing designs for textiles, fabrics, and surface patterns. As a Textile Designer and Illustrator, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, developing, and executing designs that meet the requirements and preferences of clients or target audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Development: Create innovative textile designs and patterns for apparel. This includes sketching, painting, and digitally rendering designs using industry-standard software.
Trend Research: Stay updated on current and emerging fashion and textile trends. Conduct research on color palettes, patterns, and design elements that align with market demands and customer preferences.

Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field from NIFT with a minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience.
Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or other relevant digital design tools.
Strong illustration skills, including hand-drawing and digital illustration techniques.
Knowledge of textile manufacturing processes, including printing, weaving, knitting, and dyeing.
Understanding of color theory, pattern development, and composition principles.
Creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with
clients and cross-functional teams.
