Roles Responsibilities

• Under the general direction, General Foreman are responsible for coordinating a full range of duties to manage the Handling Logistics operations of Bulk Heavy Material Warehouse related to Oil Gas industry by following the approved Policies and Procedures.
• Carry out day to day assigned activities effectively by following all safety procedures.
• Works on 2/3 duty cycle (7:00 to 15:00 15:00 to 23:00)
• Allocate daily tasks to carry out loading offloading and transporting of materials / equipment from / to Materials Yards / Jetty.
• Monitor handling activities of the warehouse and yard.
• Ensure all materials are properly secured and palletized with proper markings prior to shipment. Arranges equipment / lifting tackles as and when required.
• Report operational activities to the Senior Foreman. Maintains logbook for the vehicle movement and prepares handover report to the next shift.
• Receives / releases contractor materials for shipment to offshore locations.
• Check performance of Contractors loading / offloading activities. Makes routine checks on contractors equipment and personnel. Ensures that returned cargo from user departments are handled with proper documentation.
