Job Description:
Role : HR Compliance Specialist
Location : Ranchi
Job Summary
The LER will be responsible for end-to-end HR/Statutory compliance for east zone which includes CNX sites operating in cities like Kolkata, Ranchi, Varanasi, and Bhubaneswar.
Roles & Responsibilities
· Expertise in handling PF, ESI, LWF, PT and Managing labour authority inspections under PF, ESI, PT & other applicable statutory & labour laws, PF withdrawals/Transfers.
· Assessment & Interpretation of Labour Law amendments and their impact on business.
· Representing the company before external agencies & Government Authorities on labour matters.
· Statutory Registrations/Renewals, Filing of Compliance returns to Government Authorities
· Deal with local statutory compliance regulations covering areas such as CLRA, Shops & Establishment Act – Min. wage, Hours of work, Leaves/Holidays.
· Vendor Compliance Management and Audits.
· Handling of Police Matters, Court Matters and dispute resolution.
· Front end Internal/External/Client audits.
· Framing LER related policies.
· Litigation & dispute related to Employees, Court cases etc.
· Drafting of letters – Termination, Show Cause Notice, Contracts.
· Dealing with Central and State Government authorities for Labour Law reforms & other amendments from time to time.
· Training and Awareness of PS group on Labour Law related matters.
· Ensure statutory benefits for eligible employees.
· Preparation of compliance deck for internal reviews.
· Coordination with other stakeholders for smooth implementation of new amendments or enactments.
· Review of client agreements, vendor agreements from statutory compliance standpoint.
· Provide information and guidance that may be required by business in time to time.
· Help management with decision making on matters related to legal notices/summons.
· Communicate effectively with businesses for any non-compliance issue/s.
· Manage Stakeholders/Business relationship in the region.
· Handling Maternity and Paternity matters
· Regular tracking of EPFO E-Nomination matters
· Work on Escalation or Probable Escalation in East
· Needs to relate to the employees directly in PF and ESIC Matter
Desired Skills
· Good knowledge of Labour Laws.
· Excellent written and verbal communication – English.
· Hands-on experience in MS-Office: preferably in MS-Excel and Power Point.
· Willingness to work in a complex environment.
