A JAPANESE MULTINATIONAL needs a responsible Administrative Assistant for its RANCHI branch to perform a variety of administrative tasks. The duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to our managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs, and managing our company’s general administrative activities. Flexible enough to take on different challenges and tasks given to her as well as active to work on priorities and deadlines. Administrative assistants also use computers extensively to work with spreadsheets, create presentations and reports, and manage databases.

Duties/Responsibilities :

  • Review and maintain written and computer files, plus conduct data entry.
  • Assist in the coordination of administrative functions.
  • Research and collect information related to different tasks given.
  • Responsible for the preparation of documents and reports.
  • Maintain meeting minutes.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings and conferences.
  • Coordinate operations, including purchasing and dealing with vendors.
  • Maintain complete stock of all office supplies and accuracy of inventory.
  • Connect with building vendors to carry out fixes and improvements.
  • Answer and direct phone calls.
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
  • Develop and maintain a filing system.
  • Submit and reconcile expense reports.
  • Provide general support to visitors.
  • Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients.
  • Liaise with employees to handle requests and queries from managers.
  • Perform other tasks as well as per the company requirements.
  • Visit schools/colleges for the collection of fees as per required.
  • Handle the queries of the parents as per required.

Requirements and skills :

  • Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant, or Office Admin Assistant.
  • The candidate must be self-motivated and self-driven.
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers, scanning, etc.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular).
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and conflict resolution skill.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • Experience as an educator/teacher is a plus.
  • Degree in Education or similar field; post-graduate degree for qualification as an Administrative assistant will be a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 – ₹25,000.00 per month

Schedule:
